Greg Sand - Coalescence

In Coalescence, pixelated masses of color are created using small squares cut from found photographs. These monochromatic pieces take fragments from discarded and lost snapshots documenting many memories and moments to create a cohesive whole. The resulting pieces are an abstract patchwork of humanity that visually explore color, tone, and texture.
