Snapshots: Sitting PortraitAs long as I can remember, the uncertainties of reality have troubled me. These existential struggles eventually developed into a fixation with the nature of time and death. Through my artwork, I deal with these matters and the accompanying insecurities and anxieties. My images use subtle manipulations, frame-to-frame relationships, and an abstract sense of narrative to explore the issues of perception, memory, existence, and mortality. My work questions the nature of photographs and challenges the traditional definition of photography.
